A fleeting goodbye to my dear friend Mel (left) who’s 4.5 year London chapter ended today. No idea how she made her 10:55 LHR flight to Melbourne with 3 bags & a suitcase in peak hour. The lady in the middle gave up her seat to accommodate the many life possessions and this was our goodbye moment.

Fact: The shortest distance between two adjacent stations on the underground network is only 260 metres. The tube journey between Leicester Square and Covent Garden on the Piccadilly Line takes only about 20 seconds, but costs £4.90 (cash fare).
