A Photo A Day / 75

With sunshine now lighting up the early evening, I walked from Big Ben across the south side of Westminster Bridge and then back to the entrance of The Palace of Westminster to try and begin to understand the gravity of what happened on Wednesday afternoon, 5 days on. This is a capture of  one of the many many thoughtful tributes which people stood to read or take photos of.  The resounding message; #HopeNotHate & #WeStandTogether.

The Palace of Westminster, London

Fact: There were two beautiful red, white and yellow wreaths laid across the road from The Palace of Westminster, at Parliament Square Garden amongst many other floral tributes with a card reading ‘These wreaths were laid in tribute to the victims of Wednesday’s attack before England v Lithuania at Wembley on the 26th March. #WeStandTogether’
